Oslo Jacobson

Research Associate

Oslo Jacobson is a member of ABPDU’s fermentation team, where he supports process development, scale-up, and recovery operations. Oslo also assists in upstream deconstruction, downstream purification, analytical testing, and data analysis. Prior to joining ABPDU, Oslo graduated from Oregon State University where he assisted a physical oceanography research group in the development, assembly, and calibration of ocean research devices. He also competed in the 2018 AIChE student design competition, incorporating novel unit operations and process optimizations to design a dimethyl ether production plant using methanol feedstock. Oslo is interested in leveraging advanced process optimization methods to advance renewable technologies into commercially viable operations.
