Deepti Tanjore is the director of the ABPDU and head of the Process Engineering & Analytics department. Her research investigates how bioprocess conditions affect the health and efficiency of microbes inside bioreactors. Tanjore’s team is developing advanced sensors that can not only monitor cellular processes but also generate novel predictive data to generate AI tools that can adapt bioreactor parameters to a culture’s needs in real time.
