Changman Kim

As a member of ABPDU’s fermentation team, Changman’s research spans a wide range of biological and chemical engineering. He is focused on the development of processes for chemolithoautotrophic bacteria using a bioelectrochemical system. Prior to joining ABPDU, Changman received his Ph.D. in chemical engineering at Pusan National University. His dissertation was focused on the development of a bioelectrochemical system for the production/recovery of value-added organic/inorganic chemicals. Among his accomplishments, he demonstrated glycerol electro-fermentation models for the platform chemical production for the first time.
