Gregory Bontemps

Greg’s primary role at ABPDU is process development and scale-up for a variety of fermentation processes. Other technical operations include downstream processing, analytical testing, and product recovery. Prior to his work at ABPDU, he was active in the bio-inspired photonics research group at UC Santa Barbara. His role involved protein purification and experiments on folding properties of certain squid protein. He received his chemical engineering BS degree from UCSB in 2017. Gregory also held an internship at Enovix Corp., where he contributed to the implementation of a new coating process for their prototype lithium ion battery.
