David Chang

Process Engineer

David Chang works as a Process Engineer on the Fermentation and Recovery team at ABPDU. In his current role, he is involved in a variety of collaborations with industry and academia that focus on the production of value-added chemicals via microbial fermentation. His main responsibilities are tech transfer, process development and scale up from bench to pilot scale. 

Prior to joining ABPDU, David completed his Master degree in Bioprocess Engineering at UC Berkeley. He also has a Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering from National Taiwan University, where his research focused on the synthesis of nanoporous materials and their catalytic applications for biomass conversions.
