Justin Edaugal

Research Assistant

Justin Edaugal is a Research Assistant in the Deconstruction team at ABPDU, where he works on the development of high-throughput screening methods and machine learning strategies to optimize bioproduct recovery processes.

Prior to joining ABPDU, Justin was a Researcher at the Institute for Advanced Materials and Manufacturing (IAMM) at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, specializing in the synthesis and additive manufacturing of polymeric biomaterials for biomedical applications. Additionally, he held a Visiting Researcher appointment at the Center for Nanophase Materials Sciences (CNMS) at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, where his work involved the characterization of polymeric nanocomposite materials. During his undergraduate studies, Justin worked as an R&D Engineering Co-op at Flint Group, where he focused on the research, development, and scale-up of polymeric coatings and adhesives.
