As a member of the fermentation team, Laura performs process development, downstream processing, product recovery, and data analysis. Prior to joining the team at ABPDU, she worked with the Biofuels division of the Conn Center for Renewable Energy Research at the University of Louisville where she received her Masters in Chemical Engineering. Her graduate research focused on the purification of biomass hydrolysates in a xylose extraction process. She has also held internships at SABIC, a polymer manufacturing company, and in the QC lab of a winery in Sonoma County.
