At ABPDU, Shawn’s position is key to ensuring that the overall facility is fully functional and available for DOE and industry-sponsored projects. In addition, he also works with pilot scale processes focused on catalysis, fermentation, and downstream recovery. Shawn has prior experience in laboratory research of natural products, equipment maintenance, and facilities management. He has also been a process engineering intern at Genentech focused on upstream cell culture manufacturing.
