The 4th Women @ The Lab Virtual Awards Ceremony took place March 30, 2021. ABPDU’s Carolina Barcelos was recognized at the ceremony as a 2020 honoree. Honorees are selected for their meritorious professional contributions, leadership, mentorship, and outreach.
Carolina leads the Biosciences Area‘s IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Accountability) efforts. She organized the first psychological safety survey at Berkeley Lab, which was first a pilot survey at ABPDU. Carolina also represents the Biological Systems and Engineering division at Berkeley Lab’s Women Scientists and Engineers Council.
